Can an active mixing board be used with active speakers?

I am looking at buying an active/ powered mixing board, but only have a keyboard amp to play use as a speaker along with it. Can this be done without causing damage to both the board and the amplifier?

Yes, just use the line out instead of the speaker outputs.
