Wakesetter vtx or vlx ?

I just purchased a 2008 wakesetter vtx, it has the wake hull, 900 pds of built in ballast, wedge, 340 moonson, and all the other great features a malibu comes with. I also had the chance of purchasing a 2008 wakesetter vlx, it had 900 pds of built in ballast, wedge, 340 moonson, but it had the diamond cut hull, and i was told that since i only surf and wakeboard the vtx is better. Not that it matters anymore but in your opinion which boat is better.

you made the right choice. the diamond hull is suited, in either of the boats, as a cross over for anyone into a more ski wake, or a more mellow wake. The main diff in the boats is that the vlx is longer.
