do you need a proper wakeboard boat or is having a jet boat fine?

i have been trying to get better in wakeboarding but i cant. is it the boat? we have a speedo jet boat. do we need a mastercraft or a nautique?

you dont need any special boat, although it definatley helps you progress to get a wakeboard-specific boat. due to the wake size and other aspects, but just because you dont have one, doesnt mean you cant get any better, your just going to have to get youre technique down and by the time you hit a better boat, your skill will skyrocket1
