How to get to the fuel pump of a 2002 ford sport trac?

I know a fuel pump is in a fuel tank. What I want to know is how to get to it. Would I need to drop the tank or is there am alternative way of getting to it (back seat, bed floor). We’ve pulled off the strap holding it up, still not off.

If there is an access panel in the bed floor, you might be able to get to the fuel pump through it; otherwise you will need to drop the tank. Everything – pump, guage sender, and all goes through a hole in the top of the tank.
Only one strap, there should be at least two or maybe three. Also the filler pipe needs to come apart and maybe the fuel lines before it will fall.
