History Of Waterskiing

history of waterskiing
odds of getting into a top tier school with this?

~ 90 average

~ 2000 SAT

1 extracurricular activity (history and gov’t club now and then..)

attending the National Student Leadership Committee

other activities outside of school (participated in 2008 1st class NIT waterski tournament, playing live music in an independent band, etc)

im thinking about going to a school around as competitive as Georgetown or Brown.. do i have a decent chance?
rnrbear101: yeah about 90

That would correspond to about a 3.5 GPA. You wont get into any of the ultra prestigious schools with that (Georgetown or Brown are out). Not only does your GPA need to be closer to a 4, but you SAT’s need to be well over 2000. The highest ranked school I would suggest you have a reasonable shot at would be NYU.

I would suggest one of the Claremont Colleges, New College Florida or Reed:

http://web.reed.edu/

They all send a lots of students to graduate school (some send more than the schools you mention eg New College send 2/3′s), that’s where the action is these days.
