what is the difference between a wakeboard designed for cable parks and one designed for normal boating?

i found a really good deal on a hyperlite clash 138 wakeboard, but the description says it is designed for cable parks, will it work for normal wakeboarding behind a boat? i just started to wakeboard this summer so i am probably intermediate(i can clear the wake easy and i usually land in the flats, the 360′s are harder to do because the board i have now is a 142 .) i don’t mind having agressive fins or a 3 stage rocker. also i am 6’4” thanks

usually the profile ends of the board will tell.. like if there rounded it means the board has good pop vs. if its tipped on a point its more of an aggressive style board and the base of the board can tell that as well.. most boards on the market are rounded… I’ve never heard of a difference between the 2. A board that is durable and that has excellent cut and superior pop would be the best choice for cable. But you can use them in both and it would be good. My best bet is its some noob retailer and he/she somehow messed up the description
if you had a reference to it i can help you out more.. but i’ve been wakeboarding for 5 years now and theres no definite difference.
