what can i do if my dog ate chocolate?

i had a jumbo sized hershey bar on my bed and i left the room and i had already eaten half of it and my dog ate half of the other half. what should i do to get the chocolate out of his system before it takes effect?

How big is your dog ? If he is a larger breed you should be OK. One night my 8 pound Chihuahua got into some candy but other than being a little hyper, she was OK. The vet said no worries unless she eats a 5 pound box of chocolate.
