Legal to take out small inflatable boat into the bay?
I have an inflatable boat similiar to this one

I was wondering if it is legal to take it out like into a lake/bay. It does not have an engine, but I would use paddles. Just wondering if it is legal or not?
It would be legal … and not too safe. Stupidity is not illegal. That vinyl boat is meant for a swimming pool or VERY close inshore drifting or paddling about where you can walk or swim back to the side or shore. Should you choose to go offshore, be sure to wear a life jacket. I wouldn’t want to read about you in the obituaries the next morning.
