Pros and cons of taking fins off the wakeboard?

I have 6 fins. 3 on the front and 3 on the back. Will water go through the empty screw holes and sink the board?

pros.: the fins wont catch while doing surface tricks. when landing sketchy (it happens) the fins wont be in your way. the water sounds cool coming thru the holes.

cons: less tracking. less directional control if you dont already use the boards edge for that.

dump em. who needs 6 anyway?
