How to broil a good steak like one you’d find in restaurants?
Not sure if it’s my oven but the steaks are always coming out terrible. I used to make awesome steaks as a kid, but our oven was different then.. Our broiler used to be at the bottom of the oven, you’d slide it open..
Nowadays my oven has an adjustable rack inside and the knob has temperature setting and the broil setting. And the steaks come out so dry and unflavorable..
I tried to improve my steaks by keeping them higher up and closer to the flame so that they have more of a restaurant type result.. It helped a little but it’s not really that great.
What am I doing wrong?
P.S. My favorite steak is the skirt steak I get from the Argentinian restaurant!!
Really, grilling steaks seem to be increasing norm of restaurants, especially because they turn out so much more flavorful most of the time compared to other ways. Anyway, just in case you’re wondering a good grilled-steak recipe follows from a recipe site:
