If you want to add to the fun and thrill by making the water tube move from side to side instead of just straight, the person driving the boat should gently steer the boat from side to side.
Always be aware of oncoming boat traffic when you are the driver. If another boat is approaching do not zigzag the boat. Also be aware of obstacles on each side of you, so that you don’t accidentally knock the water tube into a dock or piling.
At higher speeds it is better for riders to lie down on their stomachs so that they don’t risk their knees knocking them in the head.
Always read the warning indicators on the towable water tubes before you purchase it. Ensure that everyone meets the age and weight requirements. You should also take note of the safe speed limit on the water tube.
Drive slower if you go over a boat wake and take extra caution if you are towing two tubes, because two tubes at once can crash into each other.
Always make sure everyone is wearing a life vest.
