Heritage .22cal single action revolver. How good does it shoot, how well does it group, is it durable?

I have a Makarov 9×18 semi-automatic pistol with six mags. Nice handgun, i just get tired trying to hunt ammo for this piece without having to order it and wait 2 weeks for it to get here. I also want somthing a little more affordable to shoot. I saw a Heritage rough rider single six fixed sight .22 cal. with a extra cylinder for .22 magnum in a local pawn shop for $190. I was considering a trade with my Mak. Is the heritage .22 worth the money. Is there any other .22cal handguns in the same price range that shoot good. I do a lot of squirrel hunting and plinking around camp fires!

Not the most accurate, or reliable in my experience. Particularly in the Magnum cylinder (22 wmr doesn’t have the best reputation for accuracy to begin with though)

You would probably be better served picking up a used Ruger single six at a gun show. Tougher, more accurate, and better looking to boot. It cost’s more, but you get what you pay for.

You can also find some Ruger MKII and probably some Taurus revolvers for not much more money.
