Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament Tickets On Sale
The Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament presented by Nautique has announced the launch of the 52nd Masters website and advance ticket sales, including specially discounted pavilion tickets offered at 40 percent below onsite gate prices through March 31st,
The Masters will be held May 27 – 29, 2011 over the Memorial Day weekend at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, GA. For complete ticket and hotel information, please visit www.masterswaterski.com
In addition, for the first time Masters tickets are available for purchase on-line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
“We are excited for this year’s Masters and happy to offer Masters fans the opportunity to purchase tickets on-line,” stated Nautique President/CEO Bill Yeargin. “This is a good opportunity for anyone who wants to be right there on top of the action; up close and personal with the world’s most elite athletes from around the world,” added Yeargin.
The Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament is an invitation only tournament. As such, invitations are issued at the sole discretion of the Masters Tournament Committee. An invitation to compete in the Masters event is universally considered a highly coveted acknowledgement of achievement for reaching the pinnacle in a given water sports discipline. In general, only the world’s most elite water sports athletes are invited to compete at the Masters, making this event the Gold Standard for completion in the genre that also carries sanctions by the IWWF/USA Water Ski and WWA.
The 52nd Masters Water Ski & Wakeboard Tournament® will be held May 27-29, 2011. The event began in 1959 at Callaway Gardens and is held annually during the Memorial Day weekend, rain or shine.
Masters sponsor Nautique has named Jeff Smith the Chief Judge of 3-event waterskiing and Shawn Perry as the Chief Judge of wakeboarding and wake skating .

The Robin Lake site at Callaway, built specifically for the Masters, boasts an expansive pavilion with covered stadium seating, judges’ tower and media area. The action can be seen clearly from the beach and picnic areas. The immaculately maintained gardens, lakes, resort and attractions at Callaway provide a tournament venue like no other in the world.
An invitation to compete in the Masters is universally considered an honor and an acknowledgement of achievement for reaching the pinnacle in a given watersports discipline – only the world’s most elite athletes compete at the Masters! This tournament is IWWF/USA Water Ski and WWA sanctioned. The Masters is instrumental in promotion and support of new and exciting water sports disciplines.
The 19th Junior Masters Tournament features the world’s finest junior waterskiing and wakeboarding athletes. In lieu of prize monies, junior competitors receive trophies.
This setting for the Masters is always a key player in the overall event itself, and this year is no exception. Callaway’s Robin Lake is nestled in a serene and beautiful atmosphere. Spectators are treated to thrilling competition while lounging in a remarkable natural setting. This event attracts thousands of spectators annually and enjoys media coverage in the local and metropolitan Atlanta areas prior to and during the tournament, followed by worldwide print coverage for several months.
