Wakeboard Wakeskate
Can you make a wakeskate out of an old skateboard?
I love to wakeboard and i can get up pretty easily. I want to try to wakeskate but don’t really want to spend the money on one. so i would like to know from experienced wakeskaters if using an old skateboard deck would work.
i just found a band new but 2006 wake skate in a seasonal shop. It was marked at $450 and they sold it to me for $90. I tried it for the first time yesterday and had a great time. I’m not a skater but I am a wakeboarder. This board was more of a wake board type skate. molded body rather than wood. traction pad rather than grip tape top so you don’t have to use shoes. look at shops that put the summer gear away near winter time. they are likely to want to get rid of them before they store them.
