Wakeboard Water
do you need really calm water to learn how to wakeboard?
i have a house on the lake of the Ozarks and the water can get really choppy. Will this effect how i wakeboard?
It CAN effect how you wakeboard and its much easier starting off to find a nice calm ski cove to learn. But you don’t need it to be completely calm. Its really not too much harder, just be sure to bend your knees a little more than usual. Your knees act as shock absorbers! So you will not fall as easily if you choose to wakeboard in really choppy waters. But if you want more height in your jumps and you don’t have a tower….hey I would go for the choppy! But ultimately its up to you and what you feel your ready for and comfortable with.
I have been to Lake of the Ozarks many times! 
Great lake. But I usually go to Table Rock!
